Hi, friends!
I promised you an update on our new home, and I’m going to share the adjustments I’ve {been forced} to make in our master bathroom.
When I design, I draw and source items. However, I never know the “life span” of the items I’ve sourced until I try to order them. It takes a lot of calling and checking stock to verify I can actually get what I want in the time frame allowed by a project. When I went to order my master bathroom mirrors, they were out of stock.
Forever.
I was pretty bummed because I loved the mirrors.
Previous Design
It took me awhile, but I finally found a suitable replacement. When I found the replacement mirrors, I had to adjust the light fixtures too. Since the new mirrors were simpler, I felt like the lights needed to have a touch of dazzle.
I was able to keep the wall faucet and sink, but I also felt like the vanity needed to be more substantial, so I beefed it up and added more storage.
Updated Elevation
To be honest, I don’t know what finish the vanity will be yet. It may sound strange, but I’ve got to find the stone countertop in my kitchen first; specifically the island granite. It will set the color scheme for the whole house.
Dave is wiring so he has me on a deadline to finish designing the basement. That’s what I’ll be up to the rest of the day.
Have a good one! Until next time…..
