What is it like to work with Tawna?
I first got to know Tawna when she did the interior design for my Wyoming home. I had done extensive exterior renovations, and really wanted someone to come in and give the entire interior a cohesive design direction. Tawna was helpful in so many ways. Not only does she have an eye for colors, textures, and materials, she also managed the entire process flawlessly. I did not have to devote any time dealing with vendors or checking on delivery dates. This was all done for me, and thank goodness, as I’m pretty busy and would’ve never had time to pull everything together the way Tawna did. She made the process exciting and fun for me, and what an amazing outcome! The finished job speaks for itself. Beautiful, functional, on budget, and absolutely original. My expectations were far surpassed.
Since I was so please with Tawna’s interior design for my home in Wyoming, I asked her to help with a home I recently purchased in Seattle, WA. This home is modern, and was designed and built by a well-known Seattle architect. Much different than the mountain homes you find in Wyoming, which speaks to Tawna’s versatility. From the moment she saw the home I could tell she was captivated by the possibilities, and I was thrilled when she agreed to take on the project. Tawna came up with two complete designs for every room in the house. I chose the direction for each, and she went to work pulling everything together. It was an extensive design project and took about 5 months to complete, as there were many custom pieces. As great as the concepts and designs were, the install and finished home is ten times better! Her use of new, vintage, and antique pieces set this home apart. Tawna’s artistic eye and her resources for finding imaginative, unusual, inspiring furnishings make her one-of-a-kind. She loves what she does, and it comes through in her amazing work.
I feel like there were so many choices and direction my project could go. I needed someone to simplify and help me make it all come together. The greatest benefit I received from hiring Tawna was ease of mind. Knowing that my paint colors, cabinet colors, counter tops, and the main areas of highlight in the house will be beautiful and flow together. Making other choices like bathroom fixtures and the small details became easy because I found a style and it made it so much easier to know what to do. I loved how professional Tawna was. I thought scheduling and payment were easy and efficient. Really appreciated how much she enjoyed helping me and how much she loves what she does!
Tawna does a great job at design! I built a professional office last year and she was so helpful. When the project started, she came into my old office and asked me how much I wanted her to do and how much she wanted me to do on my own. The other thing that I feel was key in working with Tawna is her professionalism. She always had dates and times for meetings that were convenient to my schedule. She made time at lunch, before work or after work to get ideas together. We were effective in the time we spent together because she had already researched options and brought them to our meetings.
The process of building is often described as very stressful because of the many details involved. I felt that Tawna eased this stress and made it exciting and fun to design a project. People come into my office daily and compliment the work she did with color design and overall feel. We had a unique situation where I built a building and right next to me two other professionals built another building. We wanted it to look like one project but we all had differing opinions. We even went with two different contractors. We brought her in and she made the project come together. She coordinated between the builders and owners. With the help of all the owners, she picked out the rock, stucco, windows, roofing, soffit and fascia and other details. People continually comment on how nice the buildings look. I had a good experience but if you want to judge for yourself, come in and take a look. We are at 491N Main Street in Thayne Wyoming.

Tawna is very knowledgeable and has an eye for detail. She transformed my living room nightmare into a dreamland….even suitable for 3 kids!
So pleased with the services provided by Tawna Allred Interiors. She was able to provide insight and knowledge of color combinations and color compositions that were invaluable in choosing colors for our home.
We were at a stand still when picking the color of our kitchen. We wanted it to complement out living room and the existing cabinets, but we also wanted the small space to seem large, open and light. Tawna was able to pick out multiple colors that did everything we needed. Having her help narrow it down to the three colors we like the most, helped us make a educated decision. The color choice we ended up going with was completely counter intuitive to what we originally thought would look best in the kitchen. All the rooms now seem to mesh and flow beautifully! Her help made all the difference. She was personable and receptive to my ideas for the ambience of each room.
What can seem so obvious after the fact, can be an overwhelming decision to face without the knowledge and experience of a professional like Tawna.
When we build in the future Tawna Allred Interiors will be my first call.
Tawna has an eye for what looks good. She listens to your wants and ideas. Then she helps you know what looks good. If you are going to spend money on furniture, art, decorating supplies, why not make sure it will look good before you buy it? I wanted a new dining room table. But I wanted to do it right. Tawna listened to my ideas and many of them she said would look great. But she advised me to go with opaque white chairs instead of the stained white I wanted to go with. I am so glad she suggested this to me because now that I have the table and all the chairs in my home, the opaque white looks so good! I also love how Tawna lets me be practical. She knows I have kids and fabric cushions on the kitchen chairs is not an option right now. So she helps me find other ways to bring “softness” into my kitchen.
