Afton
My mission was to furnish a new-construction home that had beautiful bones (I wasn’t part of the construction process).
The furniture needed to live up to the architecture while supporting an active family as their full-time residence.
95% of the furniture was made in America by small, high-quality fabricators. We used performance fabrics as well as Belgian linens, mohair, and other luxurious fabrics. Cut wool carpet added needed space to a small rug, and we used leather slipcovers in the breakfast nook. All of it supports a home with teenagers, friends, and two loyal canines.
