If you have followed this blog, over a year ago I was giving updates on several offices I was working on. You probably wondered what happened, because I’ve never showed you the finished spaces.
Well, today I am going to reveal one of them to you.
This office is an occupational therapy office. I was asked to help create an atmosphere that was home-like and comfortable. That is always a challenge when a space also needs to hold up to the daily wear-and-tear that an office receives.
Here are the results:
{I tapped the talented Paul Richer, an architectural photographer from Salt Lake, to take these photos}
Part of this office is rented out, and we created an “entrance” for the other office, inspired by an antique door. I absolutely love this door! The rest of the doors in this office are a dark knotty alder, which contrasts with the white paint throughout. It’s a stunning look.
The beautiful, warm white throughout is Valpar’s “Queen Anne’s Lace” W1. We just varied the sheen on the walls and trim.
The trim was all custom made by one of our fab manufacturers. The base is 1 foot tall!
More custom mill work….
All the seating in this room came from C.R. Laine. Side tables are made by Guildmaster, and the lamps are from Target.
I idolized De Vinci, and I leaped for the chance to use his “hands” sketch in the office. It’s so appropriate, don’t you think?
I have to thank my clients for letting me help them with this project. It was so fun, and I know I pushed them out of their comfort zone sometimes.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the office.
I must be off, but I hope you have a fab Monday!
If I can help you create a space you’ll love, send me a message via my contact page.
