I think there are a lot of homemade pasta sauces that are simple to make. I haven’t explored them in depth, but I want to. I came across this recipe from Rachel Ray, and tweaked it a little to my own liking. I served it over spinach ravioli, but you can use whatever noodles you would like. I hope you enjoy!

Browned Butter Pasta Sauce
6 T. butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sharp white cheddar or Mozzarella cheese
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Melt butter in a medium sized saucepan. Add salt and rubbed sage, then cook until butter starts to brown over medium-high heat. Add rest of ingredients, stirring until cheese has melted. Serve immediately over your favorite pasta.
