This is such an easy dessert, with simple ingredients. Even when pears aren’t in season, it would be an affordable, yummy dessert to make for your family. Enjoy!
2 ripe pears, cored, skinned and sliced thin
2 Tablespoons of softened butter
2 Tablespoons Demerara sugar or honey
2 Tablespoons unbleached, all-purpose flour
1/4 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
In small ramekins or other small dishes that can be placed in the oven, lay sliced pears. Stir the rest of the ingredients together, and layer on top of the pears. Cook in a preheated oven of 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the oats are browned and the pears are soft.
