Today I’m sharing a homemade pasta sauce recipe with the smokey addition of bacon. You may never eat bottled Alfredo sauce again!
Creamy Bacon Carbonara
4 eggs. whisked
1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic
2 cups cream
2/3 cups Parmesan cheese, grated finely
1 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, grated finely
2 heaping Tablespoons parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Your Favorite Pasta
1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Over low heat (you don’t want to have scrambled eggs instead of sauce), whisk everything constantly until the sauce is bubbly and smooth. While the sauce is cooking, cook noodles and bacon. When everything is ready, toss together and serve immediately.
