Crab Ragoon

Today I’m sharing a delicious appetizer with you.  I don’t often make appetizers, but these are fried and creamy and all things good.  Enjoy!

Crab Ragoon

1 package Won Ton wraps

8 ounces cream cheese

1 tsp crushed garlic

2 green onions, chopped fine

1 cup imitation crab

1 Tblsp. soy sauce

1 egg, whipped with a fork or water

2 Tblsp. olive oil

3 cups canola oil

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.  Saute the garlic and onion until onion is soft, then let cool.  In a medium sized mixing bowl, combing the garlic, onion, soy sauce, imitation crab, and softened cream cheese.  Take one won ton wrap, put one teaspoon of crab mixture in the middle, fold in half, brush the edges with water or egg wash , and seal shut.  Fry in heated canola oil until golden brown. Serve immediately.
